    i am vegetarian because i dont think its right to kill animals and eat them. but i could never be vegan. i mean come on! getting milk from cows and honey from bees doesnt hurt them.

    Josh, if you take whatever feeling makes you not want to kill animals for food, and dig a bit deeper, you may just see that the process of keeping diary cows pregnant for unnatural lengths of times, pumping them full of antibiotics from increased infections and having them inevitably slaughtered once used up for milking is equally ‘not right’, not to mention the damage that the regular consumption of animal proteins does to humans (read The China Study). Do some research into the industry. ;-)

    actually, the cows …
    actually, the cows and chickens are killed for soups and pet food when they can’t breed anymore. male chicks are either ground up alive or tossed into garbage bags into dumpsters, and male dairy offspring are sold and slaughtered for veal. vegetarian is alot better than ‘meatatarians’, but vegan is the ultimate path (my opinion only)
