Again AWESOME…I did not know how to make homemade char siu - I always buy ready cooked from the local chinatown..Now I can cook my own charsiu - Do you have to add any other ingredients when you prepare the char siu - I know it taste kind of sweet - I thought brown sugar might be needed or some other sweet ingredients

When I make this dish I add five seasons to the jar sauce - and when cooking the pork in the oven I coat it through it’s cooking with honey. Works out perfectly
