Italian Meat Patties
1 lb hamburger
1 cup flour
1 cup breadcrumbs (dry)
1 egg mixed with 1/2 cup milk
1 can tomato soup
1 soup can water
1 tbsp italian seasoning
sliced mozzarella cheese
2-3 tbsp vegetable oil
-form meat into patties (5-6 more/or less depending on size)
-put egg/milk mix, flour and crumbs into separate bowls.
-Dredge patty in flour, then egg/milk mix and then into crumbs.
-Heat oil in skillet, fry patties about 2-3 minutes per side.
Mix soup, water and italian spices in a bowl and pour around patties.
Top patties with cheese and simmer uncovered for 15-20 minutes until cooked through (or 160 degrees F internal temp.)
The sauce will thicken (add water if too thick).
Serve with noodles/pasta covered with extra sauce.
Enjoy.
