Indo Fu Goya Ryouri, Indian style bitter gourd cooking. Ingredients:- Bitter gourd (Goya) Feenugreek powder (Methi powder) Turmeric (Haldi) Salt (Shio) Oil: Sesame oil (Gingelly oil) Method 1. Cut Karela (Goya) into thin slices (3-5 mili) in a Bowl and keep aside. 2. Add oil in a frying pan add fenugueek seeds. fry till dark brown. 3. Add curry leaves (optional). 4. Add a spoon full of turmeric (Make sure that it does not get burnt) 5. Stir it well (mazatte kudasai) 6. Now pur bowl full of Karela into the stok. 7. Mix it well and sprinkle salt on top and mix it again. 8. Cover it with a lid (and stir after every 5 minutes) till the Karela becomes tender Add the karela onion mixture to it. add salt and cover with lid. 4. Cook on steam till it gets tender. Its taste very very good without any other spices. good for digestion too.
